Modbus-RTU or Non-standard Protocol to ProfiNet Converter

The LW-PN series is our self-developed high-speed Modbus RTU to Profinet gateway with 3/6/12 independent RS485 channels. It connects Modbus devices like meters, inverters and protection relays to Siemens PLCs including S7-1200, S7-1500, S7-200 SMART, CPU315-2PN/DP and S7-400. Working as a Profinet slave, it integrates a Modbus RTU master. Two versions available: standard isolation and reinforced isolation. Reinforced models feature isolated power supply. The RS485 chip delivers ±150 kV/μs typical CMTI, with current limit, thermal shutdown and bus fault protection. It withstands 5000 V RMS isolation for 60 seconds, eliminates ground loops and suppresses interference from ground potential differences for stable communication. Perfect for industrial sites with messy wiring, mixed high/low voltage cables and heavy EMI.
